Clerk/Treasurer's Office

The Clerk/Treasurer's office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM.  This office is responsible for records retention, accounts payable/receiveable, elections, tax collection, utitlity billing, liquor licensing, dog licensing, and serves as the Town's general information center.


Lori Opitz, WCMC is the Clerk/Treasurer.  Lori graduated from Moraine Park Technical College with an Associate degree in Accounting and she is also a graduate from UW Green Bay Clerks Institute.  She received her certification as a Wisconsin Certified Municipal Clerk on March 1st, 2014.  She also has over 16 years of experience working in a municipal clerk's office and is available to assist residents with any questions they may have and can be reached by e-mail at [email protected].


Danielle Wraalstad, is the Deputy Clerk/Treasurer.  Danielle has started for the Town of Oconomowoc in October of 2019. She received her certification as a Wisconsin Certified Municipal Clerk in 2022.  We are pleased to have her in the Clerk's office and Danielle is available to assist you with any questions you may have and can be reached by email at [email protected].

Jane Backhaus, is the DeputyTreasurer.   We are pleased to announce the new addition to the Clerk's office.  Jane will work part-time  and will have increased hours during election and tax time.  Jane is available to assist you with any questions you may have and can be reached by email at [email protected].
