Waukesha County Conservation Alliance Updates

There was a Kid's Fishing Clinic Sunday, June 9th at Daniel Boones Conservation League, from 9am to 1pm. We had 45 kids show up to learn and catch fish. It was successful and they caught and released many fish, including some large Bass. Thank You to all the Sponsors, Volunteers and attendees!

Our December Meeting was held Wednesday, December 18th, at 7:30pm hosted by the Great Lakes Sport Fishermen at Wales/Genesee Lions Club, W31400 Hwy 83, Genesee Depot, WI 53127 Watch for the meeting minutes to be posted soon!

We have our Annual Fundraising Banquet coming up on February 7th at the Delafield Brewhaus. We are looking for donated items for the Bucket Raffle. If you could ask for donated items and bring them to our November or December Meeting, Al could use them for his raffle. More infiormation will be posted in the next few weeks and months!

At the November 13th Monthly Meeting, Al Shook introduced this upcoming Veterans activity at Wern Valley.

There was authorization at the meeting to donate $1000 to Wern Valley to sponsor one of the fields for this event on January 4th, 2025!

Waukesha CDAC Meeting was held Monday, April 22nd, at 6pm!

It was held at the DNR Service Center, 141 NW Barstow St., Waukesha WI 53188, in the 1st Floor Conference Room. It was open to the public and all input was welcomed! We had 4 of the 5 designated CDAC representatives present and the 5th, was excused for health reasons. We had 2 of the DNR representatives present as well. We also had 3 Waukesha County Residents attending and providing input. Look for the meeting minutes and results to be approved and published to the CDAC pages of the DNR Website soon.
